2. joint responsibility / joint control

There are intensive intra-group supply and service relationships between the companies in the Hoberg & Driesch Tubes Group. In addition, Hoberg & Driesch GmbH & Co. KG provides the Group companies with central departments and services. These are mainly in the areas of human resources, IT, controlling, QM/work safety and accounting. As part of this cooperation, the companies also exchange personal data with each other.

The companies are then jointly responsible for the processing of personal data within the meaning of Art. 26 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The regulation stipulates that the companies must enter into an agreement on joint responsibility (so-called "joint control agreement") and inform the data subjects of the main content of the agreement:

  • Hoberg & Driesch GmbH & Co KG has been designated as the lead controller for all personal data and for all processing operations of the Hoberg & Driesch Röhrengruppe.
  • The joint data protection officer has been designated as the central point of contact for data subjects. However, data subjects are free to express their data protection concerns to each individual company in the group.
  • Both the companies themselves and their employees are obliged to maintain confidentiality with regard to all personal data.
  • All obligations arising for the companies from the GDPR are the responsibility of Hoberg & Driesch GmbH & Co. KG as the lead controller.
    All data protection and data security regulations and measures of Hoberg & Driesch GmbH & Co. KG are adopted, enforced and applied by the other companies.

When exchanging personal data within the group, we rely on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR in conjunction with recital 48 GDPR.

3. collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use

When you visit our website www.stahlrohr.eu, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the accessed file,
  • the website from which access was made (referrer URL)
  • browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.

The log file data is automatically anonymized after 7 days. After that, it is no longer possible to establish a personal reference.

We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
  • Ensuring convenient use of our website,
  • evaluating system security and stability and
  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

We also use analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations on this in section 5 of this privacy policy.

Cookies

Our websites use so-called "cookies". They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions that you have requested (functional cookies, e.g. for a shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. 4. disclosure of data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We only pass on your personal data to third parties if

  • the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR, and
  • this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

5. analysis tools and embedded third-party offers

Matomo:
We use the open source software Matomo (formerly known as "Piwik") to analyze and statistically evaluate the use of the website. We do not use cookies in this context.

The information is used to evaluate the use of the website and to enable a needs-based design of our website. The information is not passed on to third parties. Under no circumstances are analysis results associated with other data relating to the user.

The tracking measures we use are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

If the do-not-track feature is activated in the browser, access to our website is not recorded by web tracking.

6. consideration of do-not-track and information on opting out

We take into account the Do-Not-Track feature set in the browser. If Do-Not-Track is activated in the browser, tracking is deactivated.

Depending on the browser, the "Do not track" option (DNT) of your Internet browser is either a switch in the program settings or a module (add-on or plug-in) to be installed subsequently. If this option is activated, your browser signals to our web server that you do not wish to be tracked without your explicit consent. We will then automatically deactivate all tracking functions on the server side. You have the right

  • in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us
  • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims
  • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
    in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another person responsible;
  • in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent to us at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future and
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters for this purpose.

8. right of objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. 9. data security

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when you visit our website. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties.
